Of Romances and Bromances

(A new romance is in the future.)
Sometimes I think these little cookies know more than we give them credit for.

Romance. A seven letter word that sounds simple. It can even be adjusted into 'bromance' to broaden it's meaning. But what's the real meaning of it?
Most people would suggest the typical flowers and meals and telling the other how nice they look. But in our current society, we often find ourselves bragging about being "romanced" (in the actual sense of the word) because it is just not so common any more. Instead, we find ourselves boasting about how our one night stand made us eggs in the morning before so unceremoniously kicking us out for the walk of shame home (which we happen to leave out of the story– sorry, not much poetry in walking blocks in last nights makeup and heels.)
We've replaced "He took me to dinner and was so sweet" with "He bought all my drinks last night and when I woke up this morning feeling only a small amount of guilt about my life decisions, he made me eggs and hash browns."

So maybe this fortune means that I'll meet Prince Charming soon (or just at some point- "the future" is pretty broad) and live happily ever after. Or maybe it holds a more literal idea: that we will find a new (hopefully better than waking up awkwardly next to someone and just happy they remember your name) definition of the word. Who knows, maybe it is "bromance."
