(Your will take a journey to a place far away.)
Aside from the obvious grammatical error that seems to run rampant throughout fortunes,I thoroughly enjoy this fortune. Maybe it's just that I have a lot that's up in the air right now and come June I honestly have no idea where it is that I will be or maybe that it's just the excitement of some place new– but either way, this fortune is comforting.
Spring break has come and gone and although I stayed in town, I took a mental vacation from several things. The first was school, advertising, and the prospect of attempting to get a job. The second was the internet. For the better part of four days I turned my computer off. No Facebook, no email, no design blogs. And when I finally logged back into the digital world that we all know and love, it was with a slightly heavy heart. I realized how insanely connected I am to the world digitally. It made me ask 'Why?' Why on Earth would I want to experience life second hand?
There is a famous author who's name escapes me at the moment who writes about us looking at a window on our computer screen while the outside world, an actual window, is a few feet behind us.
It's sad really. I traveled to a far away place on spring break: reality.
