The past couple weeks have been rough for the people of Haiti and this fortune has me thinking. What happens when you have no home to go to? And beside the fact that luck isn't waiting there for you, there isn't anything waiting there for you.
There is the old phrase that home is where the heart is. I believe in this. Possessions can be replaced, but when you feel you have nothing– absolutely nothing– it feels a little like the heart is missing as well.
