So it all started with my love of fortune cookies, and more specifically, with their fortunes (although I am strangely delighted by those almost stale tasting little crackers). Amusing, smart, coincidental– they were all interesting to me. One or two could always be found in my wallet, on the wall above my desk, or stuck on the fridge. (The fortunes, not the cookies... gross.)
A few days ago I found one on the ground that said it all– everything I've been feeling, or trying to feel, over the past year.

("Enjoy life! It is better to be happy than wise.")
About to graduate from college and both wholly excited and completely terrified, I thought I might try a little experiment and see what my fortune brings mixed with a little bit of thought and philosophy on life.
So here goes. One cookie and it's fortune a day, posted and discussed, accompanied by a tasty treat.
Thankfully I live a block away from the a Chinese market and won't be surviving on a diet solely of take out.
